Janvier 2026 - Gypsy... then and now

"Undressed" to the nines, as Tessie Tura in 2025, looking back at a pic of me -not yet old enough to vote- as Gypsy Rose Lee in the Menomonie Theater Guild's 1988 production. Marion Lang directed, my father, Pinckney Hall, conducted from the pit, and Lucy Widener on the left shone as Rose. How amazing to be able to do the show again, umpteen years later, in a different language, a different country, as a different character with a different stellar cast. Styne and Sondheim's magic lives.
